Hi, I would like to verify what you want to search. Is there any result or wrong result in the list? You can check Windows Search service and Indexing Options for testing. Check Windows Search service ---------------------------------------- 1. Click Start, type services in Start Search bar, and then press Enter. 2. In the right pane, double-click Windows Search. 3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic (Delayed Start), click Apply, click Start, and then click OK. 4. Restart the computer. Check Indexing Options -------------------------------- 1. Control Pane -> Indexing Options -> Advanced -> Index Settings tab-> Rebuild button. 2. Select File Types, make sure the files' extension you want to search is selected. 3. In the Index these locations list, make sure the folder you want to index exists. Also, you can use Search and Indexing troubleshooter to narrow down the issue. Best Regards, Niki Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

All of sudden, searching files does NOT work anymore; i.e., by using any methods as those explained at: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Find-a-file-or-folder Surprisingly, I cannot remove any of all eight indexing exclusions criteria inadvertently inserted for Drive C . . . Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!
