Windows 7 - Remote Assistance
Hello,
i've got 1 machine that is unable to use RA. I can open the remote assistance program but as soon as i click on "use email to send an invitation" an error box appears with the following.
title bar - Windows Remote assistance
header - remote assistance can't make a connection
error - the information entered could be incorrect, or you might not have a valid network conneciton. Verify the information that you entered, verify that you have a network connection, and then try again.
I get the same error when attempting to save the file or use the easy connect.
does anyone have any infomation on this?
thanks in advance.

Hi,
What operating system is installed on the host computer which you want to remotely assist?
I suggest you read and try the suggestions on the article:
Windows Remote Assistance: frequently asked questions. If a third party firewall is installed, you had better disable it temporarily to check the issue.
If these computers are in a domain, please confirm with your domain administrator if remote assistance is allowed.

Both machines are running Windows 7 Enterprise and we do allow Remote Assistance. We have no firewalls on and this happens even if both machines are sitting on the same subnet inside the domain.

I wonder if there is a problem with the machine config that is affecting the RA session
