Windows 7 - Import settings for scanner
hi i have recently upgraded a clients computer to windows 7. They use an AIO Canon MP600 printer/scanner The first time they scanned through devices and printers, an import/TAG box appeard asking them where to save the pictures, do you want to tag the picture etc... The many time they scan after, it doesnt show up and it always saves to the last chosen place. Its not what they want. Is there a way to get this back, is there a way to reset the import settings when scanning documents? Any advice Thanks

The most likely cause would be that the driver/software retained during the upgrade install to Windows 7 is actually incompatible. Best solution would be to uninstall relevent device driver and software, download up to date software/driver for Windows 7, and install that.Download location is here:http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=334&modelid=13800Please be sure to correctly select 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7. Driver/software is available for either, but different versions are used.

actually, there's a check box to turn that import window off. i did so, now want it back, and can't figure out how to find that settings window. thousands of bing searches yield nothing. this person was having the same problem and some microsoft dweeb is like "ohhhh it's the drivers." it's a check box, not the drivers. where is the check box?
