Windows 7 - Domain user can log in once but not again
We currently have a full XP domain set up however due to some ill-advised hardware purchases we cant install XP on the new laptops because of drivers (or lack of) so we have had to go to windows 7. Set up went fine as did adding it to the domain me and my collegue (both administrators) can log in fine over and over again however other users can only log in once then of they go to log on again they get a black screen with the cursor still moveable and nothing else. This applys to both users of roaming and non roaming profiles. I have tried to make the users local adminsitrators but this has not helped. Many thanks in advance

Try disabling any logon scripts. If that works you'll have to troubleshoot the scripts to see exactly what's causing the problem. Can you still logon with a local account?Kerry Brown MS-MVP - Windows Desktop Experience

Disabling the logon scripts worked by turning its wifi off until after logon this might be a good tempory workaround if i can set windows to turn on wifi after login. I will keep you posted. Thanks very much
