Windows 7 - Device and Printers not showing randomly
Hi, I have a strange issue. Some time, when I boot my computer and I go on "Device and Printers", nothing apparair and after a while I can see the green search bar that stay stuck at the end of the windows.. All my services that start automaticly are started, I don't have any bluetooth card (so no bluetooth service to start), I tried to register IE8 dll and same problem. I tried to uninstall my printers and same problem without reinstalling those printers.. I can reboot 7 time without problem and at the 8th, I have this problem again and I have to reboot.. Very frustrating.. Any idea ? Thanks in advance. Best regards,n3id

Hi, To make this issue clear, please capture some related screenshots for us: How to capture a screenshot ========================= 1) Press the Print Screen key (PrtScn) on your keyboard. 2) Click the "Start" menu, type "mspaint" in the Search Bar and Press Enter. 3) In the Paint program, click the "Edit" menu, click "Paste", click the "File" menu, and click "Save". 4) The "Save As" dialogue box will appear. Type a file name in the "File name:" box, for example: "screenshot". 5) Make sure "JPEG (*.JPG;*.JPEG;*.JPE;*.JFIF)" is selected in the "Save as type" box, click “Desktop” on the left pane and then click "Save". 6) Then Upload to SkyDrive. Meanwhile, I would like to suggest you to try the following methods to check how it works: 1. If this issue did not occur before, try System Restore to get back to a previous time point which everything worked fine. 2. Try Clean Boot to check if this issue persists.
