I have a problem when I try to open a file from the Desktop or from a file search on Windows 7 the Desktop and Taskbar dissappear. One of the remedies shown was to delete the current version of C:\windows\explorer.exe with a copy of explorer from another computer. If I try to Copy, Paste, or Delete any file in Windows Explorer I am back to square one. I cannot invoke the so called fix. I go round in circles, and the Desktop and Taskbar once again disappear. This is very annoying. Looking at the number of people reporting this problem, surely there should be an automatic upgrade by now.
