Windows 7 (x64) Internet (HTTP) stops working randomly
Hey mates,
I've got the following problem:
It appears that my internet connection (port 80) stops working randomly after about 5-10minutes surfing. At this time I'm able to talk with ppl over skype or to play a game online. I have to wait and after 1-5 minutes everything works fine again.
What I've done while not being able to access any site:
- WireShark: No communication has been listed at all at this time!
- Eventvwr: No errors / No warnings
- Router Logs: No errors / No warnings
-Ping: I've ran a ping (google.com) and google.com answered successfully
-Telnet: Port 80 --> Can't connect, any other port is OK
-Disabling Windows Firewall / Antivir / etc. --> Still not working
-Testing with other devices: Other devices like my notebook, my iphone and my ipad were able to access sites (same network)
- I've ran several virus scans --> No virus or something like that
Work around:
- Disable and re-enable NIC
- Reboot the computer
Configuration:
- 2 NICs (onboard) doesn't matter which NIC I use (both, one active and one disabled, both active only one plugged, ...)
- Latest drivers and updates
- Win7 x64 Enterprise
- IPv6 disabled
I'm working as an systems engineer and it's driving me crazy not being able to fix this problem...
I was grateful If anyone was able to help me!
Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for the post!
Due to the internet connection lost randomly, I recommend you use the Network Monitor to check the network traffic, you can download it here
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=983b941d-06cb-4658-b7f6-3088333d062f.
Then refer to:
How to capture network traffic with Network Monitor to do the settings.
When you lose the internet connection, start the network monitor to capture the network traffic.
If you have any questions about this tool, you can ask question in
Network Monitor forum.
Also, you can upload your log to
Windows SkyDrive
and share the download link with us.
