Windows 7 (64) Logging off
Windows 7 (64) automatically Logs off after 25 min. when my computer is not active. Is this a normal feature, or do I have a power management problem? Is there a way to disable this feature?

Hi, Thanks for the post! Since you do not active the computer, the computer is in reduced functionality mode, you can refer to: KB 925582. This is designed for a beginning to intermediate computer user. Hope it helps. I have full functionality. The computer just logs off to the log-in screen after 25 min. of inactivity. I am able to log back in. KB 925582 by the way is for Vista.

Since there is a consistency to this, there seems to be a timmer associated with the problem. I set the power plan options to "timmers of(presentation) and also set screen saver to none. But it is still logging off to the log-in screen when there is no activity on the computer. Having to log back on after leaving the computer for a few minutes is anoying. This must be some power management software error, right? I reinstall the original OS but I still have the problem. Any other ideas?

You are right, there must be a software causing this. The question is which one? The first thing to do here is to isolate it. Perhaps you can boot your computer to safemode see if it does the same. Then do clean booting. http://www.cesabarre.com/
