Windows 7 & Toshiba Laptops
Hi, I have a questions .. I realize that with toshiba laptops and windows 7 I cannot connect to the internet wirelessly. The wireless network is seen by the adapter (laptop) and says connected but when try to browse get page cannot be displayed. If it is connected wired it browses fine/// any suggestions? ps. I tried refreshing the wireless adapter / turning off firewalls / anti viruses ... Any help would be highly appreciated

Hi, Is there another machine in the Wireless network? If there is, can it access Wireless network successfully? Here are some suggestions you can try: 1. Assure the SSID and passphrase is the same for the router config page. 2. Restart the machine in Safe Mode with Networking to check whether Internet can be accessed normally. 3. Upgrade the Wireless network adapter driver. Thanks, Novak

Hi Novak and thank you for replying .. i tried all that .. the computer(s) can connect wired safe mode or normal .... but once it touches wireless ... it shows connected and full signal strenght but just won't connect ... updated driver's for win7 on toshiba's website and same result . no connection .. i'm like really baffled . cuz i tried disabling windows firewall .. the anti virus's firewall .. remove the filters ... did everything i know .. still same thing .. only thing left would be a system recovery ...
