Greetings, I have installed Windows 7RC and everything is fine except Action Center Backup can't see my Network Storage Device. Windows Explorer can see the Network Storage Device. Yet, the drive does not appear in the list of network locations. The Network Storage Device is a Maxtor, Central Axis. I had it working before I installed Windows 7RC, under Vista. W. How does it work if you create a map drive to the drive first, and then backup to the mapped drive?Arthur Xie - MSFT

Arthur, The day after I wrote that, the drive appeared in the list. Must have been the two reboots. Anyway, now my backups only get about 57% and stops/freezes. I have tired different method of just letting Windows decide what to backup, and it stopped at 57%. Where I choose it went up to 67%. The odd thing here, the drive appeared days after I installed. Go figure. And chat with Maxtor people haven't been much help. One thing, Maxtor can not accept a symbol such as @ sign in the Workgroup Name. Thanks. W. Kirk Crawford Tularosa, New Mexico
