Windows 7: bad routing table entry added upon every reboot; manual fix required every time
Hello, I have a laptop that I have joined to our domain here, there seems to be a problem with the way network detection attempts to configure things when windows7 boots up. After a fresh reboot, I have two entries for the default gateway in the routing table: Active Routes: Network Destination Netmask Gateway Interface Metric 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 On-link xxx.xxx.xxx.72 20 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 xxx.xxx.xxx.1 xxx.xxx.xxx.72 10 I am unable to connect to any network resources outside of the subnet. Only when I delete the entry for 0.0.0.0 (which deletes both the ones for the "on-link" gateway and the xxx.xxx.xxx.1) and re-add another entry for only the xxx.xxx.xxx.1 gateway, am I able to get outside of the subnet. As soon as I reboot, the problematic routing table entry is back (the "on-link" one). Why is this added everytime after a reboot? Please help

Turns out this is due to the bonjour service that was installed when quicktime was installed
