Windows 7: Format Removable drive as a standard user
Hi, Is it possible to allow a standard user with domain user account to format a removeable hard drive without granting them administrator rights. UAC prompts the user when a format is attempted

Hi, I am afraid it cannot be achieved. With UAC enabled, applications and tasks always run in the security context of a non-administrator account, unless an administrator specifically authorizes administrator-level access to the computer.
