Windows 7: Can I limit bandwidth used on Windows Shared Folders
Is it possible to limit the bandwidth used by Windows Shares. When someone copies a large file from my shared folder it severely impacts the performance of my system for my uses due to the amount of disk reads.

I was going to say that if it was Windows 2008 Server you might be able to with QoS. There are a number of third-party bandwidth throttling apps out there.
