Windows 7/64 saved internet pages to desk top don't show icon
Pages saved to desk top from IE8 and Firefox no longer have their associated icons attached to desk top link--the desk top link is visibly blank. The link is functional. How do I restore the icon, with saved pages? NOTE: I've checked associations for both IE8 and Firefox and the associations are correct.Paul R. Black

Hi, Regarding the issue, I suggest that you check the default program. 1. Click the Start Button and click Default Programs. 2. Click " Set Default Programs". 3.Chose Internet Explorer and Click “Set this program as default”.William Tan TechNet Community Support
