Windows 10 new features not installed

I have a Sony VAIO laptop, since I upgraded it form Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, whenever I reboot my computer or it wakes up from sleep mode, I receive a notification indicating, "Windows is installing new features, it will take few minutes",  but after a few minute there is another message, saying "there was a problem and we were not able to install features". I talked with a Windows technician, he ran Windows Safety Scanner (SFC \scannow) on my computer, which resulted in not finding any problem and the error notification is still there.

Is there a solution for that and is there a way I be able to check which additional features are added to my OS by Windows and at what date?

Any help to resolve this issue is greatly appreciated because it is getting very annoying.

If you are still experiencing this issue, try running Fix Windows corruption errors by using the DISM or System Update Readiness tool

See How can I tell if my computer is up to date? which is for Windows 7 but still can be used for Windows 10. A better way to install Windows 10 into a computer, is to use the Microsoft Media Creation Tool. Take a look at Installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool. Installing Windows 10 using this tool has helped to resolve a lot of installation issues.
