Windows7 Home or Pro for telecommuting to work?
I'm currently telecommuting into my office desktop with Cisco VPN & remote desktop. I want to upgrade from Vista to Window7. Which would be a better upgrade, Home & staying will the VPN or will Professional take care of all of my telecommuning needs?

The first thing you need to do is make sure Cisco has a VPN client that works with Windows 7. Since you are running Vista it's quite likely the one you have now will be okay, but it's best to check. Next, run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to see there are any hardware or software problems waiting for you. Once your sure you're in good shape, check out the MS comparison here: Which one is right for you? From what I can see, Home would be fine as you will not be connecting to a Domain, but via VPN. Rich
