Window 7 installation problems
I installed Windows 7 in my system. I am trying to install SQL Server Express edition. When I click on setup. I am getting the following error "The Windows Operating System with Majore Version 6 and Minor Version 1 is not supported". Then I tried installing prerequisites "WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe" Windows Installer 3.1 It is throwing an error "not enough storage is available to process this command", When I searched in web, it gave me 2 solutions 1) To increase IRPStackSize upto 50 (under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ lanmanserver \ parameters) 2) Checked compatibility under properites but "Windows 7" is not present. Please guide to resolve the same
