Hi, Before going any further, I would like to verify that did your system is OEM system form HP? If so the D driver should be OEM recovery driver and cannot perform system backup. If not, I suggest to perform these tests to troubleshoot the issue: 1 Login with Clean Boot 2 Temporally disable firewall 3 Remove any third party tools And you can try the test within: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7performance/thread/1ab5a681-0c88-4b98-a2c5-635d42fc314d “Go into control panel, administrative tools, services Look for Block Level Backup Engine Service and right click Select properties then logon tab Change from local system to "this account"...browse for your username enter your password...click apply...then ok” Hope that helps. Hi Leo, Thanks, i have tried it but it does not work and i have opened a case to Microsoft support. Finally, we manage narrow down the problem is cause by domain group policy that denied the backup under "removable storage". Thanks for your help !!MT | MCITP ----- Please vote helpful or mark as answer if it's answered your question, this help us follow up the question status.
