Window-Positions
Hi,does anyone remember Windows Vista? In Windows Vista, as well as in Windows XP there were several "Links" to folders at the Start-Menu.One for "Pictures", one for "Computer", one for "Documents" a.s.o.For me, working with different windows like "Computer" and "Documents" it was nice that "Documents" saved its last position when closed and opend at this position when called from the Start-Menu as well as "Computer" did (Resolution of 1920x1080 makes is possible AND practical). Now at Windows 7 (RC AND RTM) only the position of the LAST CLOSED window is saved, so I have ALWAYS to move the windows by "hand".Is there any hack to get Windows 7 act like Windows Vista or XP (or 2000, even ME, 98, 95)?Thanks,Chris

Hi,it's completly not working.Just opened "Documents" and moved it to the right of the screen (not docking), then opened "Computer" and moved it to the left (also not docking).Closed first "Documents" with "Shift", then "Computer" with "Shift".Then opened "Documents" again - it moved to the "Computer"-Position.As I said - Always the LAST Position - not the LAST OF THE WINDOW.Chris

This must be a bug becouse I put allmy power options in a folder with shortcuts and add it to a tool bar since the power fly out selection on the start panel is so small and configure that folder to open no bigger than those shortcuts but now if I open another window I must increase it's size so it seems windows 7 does not remember the size of individual folders.
