Windos Live Mail
I can receive my e-mails through my ISP using Window Live Mail but I can't send e-mails. Everytime I tried to send I get following error message:
"A TCP/IP error occurred while trying to connect to the server.
Subject 'test'
Server:"My ISP mail provider's e-mail account'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC15
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No"
I checked with my service provider, they tried different thing still still the same. I use Mcafee, I checked and found the following message;
"20/06/2011
4:20:10 PM
Blocked by port blocking rule
C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Mail\wlmail.exe
Anti-virus Standard Protection:Prevent mass mailing worms from sending mail IP address"
I had XP and I never had this problem. I would appreciate any advice to fix this problem.

Hi shape58,
The error message said it's blocked by port blocking rule. Follow these:
1. Right-click the McAfee icon, click VirusScan Console.
2. Right-click Access Protection, then click Properties. In the Rules list, select "Prevent mass-mailing worms from sending mail", click Edit. Under "Processes to exclude", add wlmail.exe to the list.
3. Click OK.
