Windoes 7 WLAN file transfer issued
When transferring files from my laptop WLAN through the network to my (server) desktop windows 7 machine in another room, I constantly have the same issues. While transferring, I will either ... 1) Lose contact between machines 2) half way through transfer be prompted that the file already exists, which it doesn't, and ask to replace it. Sometimes, if I press yess, it will loop and continually do this. If I select NO, it will stop and remove the copy it has put on the other machine. 3) Lose connection and crash windows.

Hi, Which kind of would you like to transfer, documents, video or other files? Does the issue occur when transferring any file via Wireless network? At this stage, I suggest you perform the following steps to troubleshoot the issue. 1. Temporarily turn off firewall on each machine and transfer a smaller document for a test. 2. Upgrade the Wireless router’s firmware and Wireless adapter driver. 3. Restart the machine in Safe Mode with Networking and transfer the data in this mode. Does the issue persist?
