The version at the softpedia link is 4.0 files dated 1998.. it's over 12 years old and I think it comes from NT4 gave me a bunch of false positivies when comparing files. I think you'd be a lot better off with a more current version--Chuck

Just a quick recommendation for a very nice commercial comparison tool... Beyond Compare by Scooter Software. http://www.scootersoftware.com/ Much of the stuff I do as a software developer (and web site maintainer) would be hugely more difficult if I didn't have this powerful tool for giving me quick views about what's different (and what's the same). It compares blocks of files and individual files with great prowess. -Noel
