ok, I have been having this problem for 2 months now and I dont think its the modem itself. I have installed the modem on my new toshiba laptop and havent had any problems yet.Now on my Presario 2100 laptop, its terrible and causing so much heart ache.I have installed it and it works and i go online for a moment then the entire system freezes. I am using xp and called thier technicians and they said that I have a bug. I didnt have a bug and without the modem i have complete functionality without any problems until i plug up the usb modem cricket A600.when connected and try to browse with ie8 for a while im ok for about 10 minutes and then it freezes and locks up where i can do absolutely nothing and have to shut down with all my work. Its so fustrating!! and heartbreakingNow after talking with their techs they said i have a bug so i said ok let me back up all files possilbe and reinstall xp. Done. hoping the screen and system wont freeze and no luck. with new system instal and a clean slate on the computer i am still experiencing these freezes and lock up and haveing to shut down completely.It seems that xp has a problem with the modem and i cant figure out what the problem is would somebody please help me to stop this terrible nonsense!!1 person needs an answerI do too
