Win 8 won't shutdown or sleep or hibernate with internet connection

If my computer is connected to internet (through wifi or lan), it won't shutdown or hibernate or sleep.

If I disconnect it, it works.

But I don't really have a fix. Try to disable some of the (network related) 3rd party tools you run.

Hi,

yes, you can just boot into clean boot to check what would happen. Meanwhile, update the network related driver to the latest versions.
