Win 8 BSOD caused by mouclass.sys

I have an ASUS X202E running Win 8 (installed from mfr). All ran fine until I tried to use my Pixxo RF mouse. It ran ok first time, but I started to get BSOD's randomly afterwards, but ONLY when I had the wireless mouse plugged in. It finally crashed when I plugged in the mouse so between that and the reference in the crash files to mouclass.sys I am pretty certain its the culprit.

I tried disabling the touchpad when the mouse was plugged in but it still crashed. I have since stopped using the wireless mouse and no further crashes, but I really would like to USE the wireless mouse! I have been using a USB mouse and no crashes with it and I checked with Pixxo and there are no drivers - it runs using the standard MS supplied driver.

Any help?

We do need the actual DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.
WE NEED AT LEAST TWO DMP FILES TO SPOT TRENDS AND CONFIRM THE DIAGNOSIS. You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking. If you are overclocking stop.  (chances are if you dont know if you are, you are not)a To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.  We need at least 2 DMP FILES to diagnose and confirm The procedure: * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine. * Zip up the copy. * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button. (if available on  your site, MS doesnt have this)  *Please upload them to a file sharing service like Skydrive or"Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply. Link for how to  upload below. http://www.wikihow.com/Use-SkyDrive To ensure minidumps are enabled: * Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter. * Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button. * Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked. * Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies). * Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump. * OK your way out. * Reboot if changes have been made. Please also run MSinfo32 and upload the output as well. To run MSinfo32 please go to start>run>MSinfo32 Go to "file" "save" and upload the saved file with the DMPS System specs are extremely useful so please include whatever you know.

These were Related to NMgamingms.sys USB Optical Mouse Driver from Primax Ltd.  Yours is 3+ years old.  I would re-install the newest driver available.

Other old drivers needing updating

ASMMAP64.sys    7/2/2009 5:13:26 AM
atkwmiacpi64.sys    9/6/2011 9:44:52 PM
AiCharger.sys    9/22/2011 10:04:40 PM
AsHIDSwitch64.sys    5/30/2012 10:38:32 PM

                       How To Find Drivers:
Search
Google for the name of the driver
Compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
Visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
If there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program

The most common drivers are listed on these pages:
http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.php
http://sysnative.com/drivers/

Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org

Probably caused by : NMgamingms.sys ( NMgamingms+1cbb )

If you continue to crash I would remove Avast and use the built in defender.

I've had no luck finding a driver update for nmgamingms.sys. Both of the reference sites given above list it but the reference points to a link that is no good. Also when I visit the site for my mouse manufacturer tey dont have any drivers listed for the mouse...

Didn't try any of the other drivers as I really am only looking to fix this mouse problem at the moment...

I cant help you with that as even in Google there are no English language download sites. Where did you get the original driver for that mouse?

Have you tired re-installing the current driver in compatibility mode?

To Run in compatibility mode do the following:

Right click the installer>properties>compatibility>choose OS
