Win 7 won't automatically reconnect to WiFi
But it will connect after displaying the available wireless networks, then clicking on the preferred network. Telling it to remember the setting has no effect. Other Win7 computers have no difficulting automatically reconnecting to the this WiFi router. This is a home WiFi network, so we have to jump through this hoop every day. Not a serious problem, just annoying. Thanks Mark

Try the following step, under the list of wireless available networks, it would display the network name, signal strength, the type of wireless security used and the ssid. If you plan to use that network in the future, make sure you check the box that says 'Connect automatically'. This way, when you start your laptop next time, in the same area, it will automatically connect to this wireless network without requesting any manual intervention. Alternatively go to start, under search program & files, type services.msc & hit enter. Scroll down to the WLAN AutoConfig service, right click on it and select Properties. Click on General tab, select Automatic for startup type, next hit apply & ok

I have this problem too and your answer didn't help me. Do you have any other suggestions for this problem? Thanks Andrew
