Win 7 ultimate 64; Fonts show in viewer but some not showing in word or excel
I have run sfc.exe /scannow, and found several system files were repaired, but still have same issue of not seeing about 20 fonts. I have copied fonts from another w7 machine and installed using the install button, dragging them in, copying them in, and nothing. WHAT TO DO NOW? I am thinking of reinstalling 7 in repair mode for a repair to the system files, should I? Is there a clean list of the default fonts within Windows support? Can they be copied off the install disk from some cab file? I have seen some answers from the different forums about where to go and get (say), Arial, and there is a link posted. These sites say they have it and when I actually scrolled thru pages and pages, no Arial at all. I have seen his question posted across a hundred foums in Google, no real answers. So, I'm looking for real answers. Anyone feel free to jump in and address any or all of the above questions. Thanks, Ric

The following list lists fonts that are supplied by Windows 7. Fonts supplied with Windows 7 Arial is in the list. It seems that your system components are damaged. The best method to repair the system is running In-place Upgrade. Your personal data and installed programs will not lost in general situations.
