Win 7 network username error, domain issue?
I set up a Wireless N Router with a 2TB Network Drive. I've Mapped the Network Drives for all computers (including Apples) but the Windows 7 Operating systems are the only ones that don't work. It seems to keep adding the computer's domain name before the user name which won't work. Earlier Windows does this but you can delete the inserted computer's domain name but Win7 won't allow you to remove it. Any ideas?

Hi, Would you please let me know if the computers are in domain? What error message did you receive? Please refer to the following article to set the mapped drive. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Create-a-shortcut-to-map-a-network-drive When the window prompted to enter the credentials, click use another account, type name as compuer_name\user or ip_address\user. If any error is received, please feel free to let me know.
