Win 7 fax log not recording outgoing/sent faxes from EMR
We are a medical office using an offsite server for our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. We use Optimed Software for our EMR. We are able to generate faxes in the EMR. The faxes are sent from our EMR to Windows fax and scan then out electronically through our fax machine line. The faxes are actually going to the intended recipients but we can not see any record of any of the faxes passing through Windows fax and scan- nothing appears in any of the files: sent or outgoing. Prior to our upgrade to Windows 7 and an offsite server we were using Windows XP and our own onsite server and were able to track the outgoing faxes. This function to track faxes is extremely important as we know from our prior experience that between 5 and 10% of our faxes do not get sent! Please help, there must be a solution to this.

Hi, To troubleshoot this issue, please check the Windows Fax log in %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax. If you cannot find any log there.
