I have this strange problem. I have a HP DV7T laptop with Win 7 RC100 connected wirelessly to a LinkSys WAG54G2 gateway router with two XP machines on it and another Win 7 computer.When I fire up my laptop, I can seeall threemachines on the network. I can also access the machinesby typing \\NAMEOFCOMP\ in explorer.A short while later (without me doing anything) the machines can't be accessed anymore by using their names. I get the message: Could not find computer \\NAMEOFCOMP\However, if I type in the IP address of the computer in explorer in the form\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\, the computers are visible. I've checked everything mentioned in the forums: Network discovery is on, workgroup is same, homegroup is off, etc. etc.Why can't the Win 7laptop locate the other computers by their name??

It appears that the DNS is failing at some point. How short a while later does this happen?
