I have Windows 7 Ult 64-bit and run Windows XP mode. I mapped a network drive in Windows XP but when I tried to delete the drive mapping in XP, the drive mapping still appears and if I try to disconnect the drive, I do not get the drive letter showing in the list of drives to disconnect. When I try again to delete the drive (with a right click and select disconnect network drive) I get a message saying: "The network connection could not be found." But the drive still opens to the network path with no problem. When I try the command line: net use {drive letter} /delete, windows reports "The network connection could not be found." Symantec Endpoint Protection v11.0.6 is installed on Windows 7 but no AV is installed in the virtual XP machine. Any help will be appreciated.

How do you delete that drive? Yes, I should have said disconnect (which I do later on). Sorry for the inconsistancy. If I right click the drive mapping and choose "disconnect" the message is: "The network conection could not be found."William Fearn
