Win 7 RTM and RDP
How do I install terminal services on windows 7 (like xp) such that I can use a browser to access the remote desktop function? RDP works fine if I use the rdp client but I want to use the browser instead. I installed IIS but it does not have a terminal services part like XP does.

There is this old thread concerning this issue with Vista. It may provide clues for Win 7. As always YMMV though...http://forums.techarena.in/vista-setup-install/765364.htmPost back if it works or doesn't...MS-MVP Windows Desktop Experience, "When all else fails, read the instructions"

Thanks - that did the trick. You have to do a different install with tswebsetup.exe. Like on Vista -in Windows 7 it is not part of IIS.

Hi, I suggest you use a Microsoft service, named Live Mesh. With Live Mesh, you can easily share files, folders and other data with friends. Also, you can use browser to connect remote computer. For your convenience: Microsoft Live Mesh There is a guided: Microsoft Live Mesh Get started Hope it helps.
