Win 7 RC (64-bit) to Win 2K3 PPTP VPN - Intermittent Connectivity
I'm experiencing this on 2 systems - One a custom built desktop system the other an HP EliteBook 8530p notebook. The PC is hard-wired and the notebook connects viawireless to a Netgear WGR614v7 router using an AT&T DSL connection...I work from home and connect to the office usingMS PPTP (because the Cisco Client doesn't workon 64-bit systems) to a serverthat is running Windows 2003 Server R2 SP2. The problem I have is I'll lose connectivity to the office network. The VPN connection doesn't drop and still shows "connected", but I no longer have the ability to communicate on that network. Other times I'll lose WINS resolution and have to use FQDNs to get to servers on the other side. Sometimes it'll stay working for hours :)I've tried removing IPV6 from the dial-up adapter.I've tried setting it to "PPTP".It's still intermittent :)

Same issue here, with Win7 Ultimate RTM, clean install on 2 machines. Both had no VPN issues whatsoever with Vista.
