Win 7 Pro laptop cant see network win 2003 server
HI I have a win 2003 server and a win 7 laptop. It loggs into the domain fine which is the 2003 server. It used to have a mapped drive on the server. Al lthe sudden theres no access to it. If i go to network it doesnt see any of the other pcs or server. I turned off all virus and firewalls on laptop. Network sharing and discovery is on. Can ping each other and can access by using server name ex \\server. Made sure computer browser services are set to automatic. but still when i go to netowrk it doesnt see any computers so i cant map it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi, You can map the network drive via several methods. You may map it in the Computer Exporer manually. Also, you may refer the following link to map the drive via command line. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/dd637758.aspx Regarding you can not see the other computers under Network in the explorer. I suggest to disable the Network discovery and re-enable it for a test.
