Win 7 NIC problem when Windows starts
Hi, I have two different PC's running Windows 7. One machine is a self build with an Intel NIC. (Latest driver.) The other is a brand new HP G520uk with the latest Realtek driver. When the PC's were first installed, both machine worked fine, but after about two months, I noticed that they both had errors on the NIC's at start-up. The NIC icon always shows the yellow warning triangle. I can not renew my DHCP ip address from my router or ping the outside world. I can, however, access my router via the web interface using it's IP address and ping from the router to the outside world. At first I thought it was the router, but I discovered that the problem existed if I removed the router and connected my PC direct to my suppliers modem. I have also used my old XP laptop with the router and that connects fine. The only solution I have at present is to disable and then enable the NICs. They both then copnnect to the router or modem without any problems. This seems to be a boot up issue directly relaited to Windows 7. Any ideas / solutions? Cheers.

Please temporary disable antivirus and check the result. If the issue persists, run the online scan in the following website. http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/sandbox/eula.htm?scanner=default&goback=http%3A%2F%2Fonecare.live.com%2Fsite%2Fen-us%2Fdefault.htmPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
