Win 7 KVM issue when running game at fullscreen
I'm using a KVM (without the video) to switch keyboard/mouse between 2 machines, each using its own dedicated monitor (a 2 computer, 2 monitor setup). PC #1 is running Win XP Home 32-bit, and PC #2 is running Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Whenever I'm running a game (full-screen, non-windowed) on PC#1 (Win XP) and switch into that PC, everything seems to works as intended. However, if I'm running a game (full-screen, non-windowed) on PC#2 (Win 7) and switch into it, the game either minimizes to the taskbar or, in the case of Flight Sim X, "Alt-Enters" it into windowed-mode and pauses. In either case (on the Win 7 machine), I either have to click the game on the taskbar to re-maximize/play it, or in the case of Flight Sim, manually Alt-Enter it back into full screen mode and unpause it to resume play. Does this have something to do with a difference in the way the two OSs react differently to hardware detection? Can I disable this behavior in Win 7 so that I may switch seamless back and forth without interuption? Again, I'm not using the video portion of my KVM. I'm only using it for (USB) keyboard and mouse switching.

Hi, Before going any further, I would like to verify did this issue appear with other programs or games? Please contact the KVM manufacturer to check if the KVM switch is compatible with Windows 7 and get the latest version of the driver to test. I suggest to update your BIOS to the latest version on Windows 7 machine. Also update the driver of your mouse and keyboard. Then login with Clean Boot to see if the same issue occurs. Furthermore, you can contact KVM manufacturer for further help. Thank you for your understand and cooperation.
