Win 7 IE8 Images Issue
Hi - can anyone help please? I'm running Win 7 RC Build 7100. Generally IE8 will display all images on most websites with absolutely no problem, except when I do an Image search in either Google Images or Bing the thumbnails will not display - I get placeholders followed by red crosses in the corners or just go straight to the red crosses (I can follow the links and see the original images on their own sites, no problem). I've reviewed all advanced options in IE 8 Tools etc, cleared the cache, tried in and out of compatibility view, and with all security turned on and off. No change - it just seems to be these pages. Any suggestions please?

Normally, that happens only when the server youare visiting gives timeouts (because of too many simultaneous requests, f.e.), and your browser is forced to use placeholders instead of the real pictures,as the loading times are too long.Mobile AMD64 3000+, VIA Apollo K8T800 chipset, 1 G RAM, ATIRadeonMobility 9700, 20x DVDRW, C:XPSP3 (55G),D:WIN7 (25G),F:DATA (250G)

Hi Guys - thanks to both for replying. I was thinking the same about time outs and placeholders too but why just on these pages? It has to be an IE8 thing as I don't get the same with Firefox - I'll go back to that
