Win 7 Enterprise not genuine suddenly
Hey. Seems like there a re a lot of other questions re: this problem, but nothing really seemed to fix this for me, so here goes. Installed Windows 7 Enterprise on this machine >6 months ago, no problems until this morning. Started computer up, Norton started it's weekly virus scan. Paused it so I could log in for our time keeping program. Everything was running slow, in retrospect it may have been downloading updates as well. After getting logged in, system crashed. Shut it down, restarted, neither Firefox nor IE would start, saying there was a bad image. Shutdown properly, restarted, windows wouldn't start. Ran the startup repairing program (can't remember exact name) 3x times to try to fix. Finally got Windows to start up again, but then I started getting the not genuine error. This copy of windows in enterprise edition from the university, so no product ID to try to re-activate. Been through the forums w/ no real help. Any ideas before I just re-install?
