I've downloaded the Windows 7 Enterprise 90-day evaluation version, the AIK, MDT 2010, etc in order to begin test deployments in our sandbox/model office. If I remember correctly, the Enterprise OS evaluation trial period ends at the end of the year or "while supplies last." Question 1: Am I permitted to install the evaluation version of the OS on more than 1 PC? If so, is there a limit as to how many PC's I can install it on? Or to clarify, I've downloaded 1 evaluation copy and activated it. Do the terms of the evaluation allow me to install and activate it on more than 1 PC? Question 2: Will the evaluation period end - and the OS deactivate or self-destruct - at midnight on January 1, 2011 even if that specific installation has not reached the end of its 90-day evaluation period? To clarify, if I install an evaluation copy on a system on December 1, 2010, will it continue to function until 90 days thereafter or will it die on January 1st? Many thanks. John

Your memory deceives you. The offer to download and evaluate a trial version of Windows 7 Enterprise ends at the end of the year. "The download will be available through December 31, 2010, while supplies last." No, it won't use a "self-destruct" mechanism, you must reformat your harddrive/partition to delete it.
