Win 7 DNS Server not responding on LAN
I have a PC running Win 7 Home Prem and a laptop running Win 7 pro. Everything was ok untill recently when I kept losing the internet on the PC. Now I cannot connect to the internet on the PC or Laptop when wired but can when wireless on the Laptop. My Network status shows as Internet available and I can get email on the wired connection. I cannot access my router via the PC at all but can via wired on the laptop. I can ping the PC from the router config and all is ok. I am really struggling now. Any help appreciated.

Thanks for the reply but not sure that will make much difference as I have just popped into the office and my laptop connects to the LAN with no problems. Looking like a router problem. I will try to connect a modem later to see if I can connect to the internet with that.
