Try updating your system time.

Hi Mr.Seven, 10x for the help, but the system time is correct, the MB battery is ok. The problem is not in the system time. UPDATE: if I create a new schedule, the next time is OK, but when I reboot the machine it is wrong again, even that the system time is correct. This is very strange, the win installation is a month old. Regards Ivaylo

1899 was a good year but not for data backups. In the task schedulalar click on the conditions tab because there may be something there preventing it from running. Also see if Windows Defender is affected by this.

I suggest you delete the task in Task Scheduler and then re-create it. 1. Turn off schedule. 2. Enter Task Scheduler in Start Search box.3. Locate to Microsoft\Windows\WindowsBackup. 4. Delete the task AutomaticBackup.5. Re-create the scheduled backup. If the issue persists, please temporary disable or uninstall the anti-virus program. Also test if the backup works in the case that the time is not correct.Arthur Xie - MSFT

Hi Ivalyo,I see from your screenshot that 'AutomaticBackup' task is missing from Task schedulerin \Microsoft\Windows\WindowsBackuppath. Can youcheck whether AutomaticBackup file ispresent in <SystemDrive>\Windows\system32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsBackup? Also, can you confirm your scenariothatif you go through Change settings wizard and save settings, AutomaticBackup task does get created and when you reboot your machine, the task goes missing? Thanks,Sneha[MSFT]

Hi All, Thank you for help. After I deleted WindowsBackup file, the date is correct in backup and restore, but not in schedule task manager. Below are the errors I have when I open the Manager. http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/6810/errormf.jpg http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/1514/error2sx.jpg I think is something wrong with the schedule task manager, but I have no idea how to fix it. Hi Ivaylo, like you Ihadtoo exactly the same problem... next backup: 12/30/1899. I believe it happened because I did something unexpected to windows 7: 1) I created a backup to test how it works. 2) I deleted the backup: with the backup program and phisically, deleting the backup folder "WindowsImageBackup" and all the file created. 3) I recreated the backup schedule (with the backup program) and after a reboot I noticed thenext backup: 12/30/1899 Form me it worked thesolution proposed by Arthur Xie. 2. Enter Task Scheduler in Start Search box.3. Locate to Microsoft\Windows\WindowsBackup.4. Delete the task AutomaticBackup.5. Re-create the scheduled backup. <<< via backup program I have the same errore opening Task manager: Task {0} does not exist. Elvis Stokovac
