Win 7 64bit dual boot with mac os on mac pro. broadcom issue
I have a Mac Pro and dual boot with Win 7. I wish to use the Broadcom network card installed in the Mac Pro and although it is fine and works properly under Mac, under Windows 7, The bandwidth is awful. Sometimes the connectionl sort of drops but the signal strength remains high, very odd. I have a Macbook Pro with same card installed and dual boot there and I have no problems with iether OS, in fact the signal strength is better than the Mac Pro. I could only put it down to the Windows driver as it is different between the 64 bit version and the 32 bit version of Win 7. Does anybody here know of this issue?

Hi, I would like to explain that Microsoft does not develop hardware drivers for the third party products. The Windows 7 built-in hardware drivers only provide the basic features. If you want to use the network card normally, please refer to the manufacturer’s website, download and install the latest version of the driver for Windows 7 x64. In addition, you may also try to update the router firmware to improve the stability. If the issue persists, please try to adjust the advanced features of the network card and the router, such as Receive Side Scaling, Speed & Duplex and so on. Does it work?
