Win 7 64 Bit Client to Win 2003 Server Terminal Server Printer redirection
I have a client that is having printer redirection issues. Client workstation is a Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit System and pretty plain office 2010, Acrobat Pro, Lync, Java, Flash and that is basically it. They RDP to a system running Server 2003 System configured to support Remote Desktop Services. Connected to the Client system is a USB HP P2015P printer and we have not been able to get it to redirect that printer to the RDP Session. I have looked over the web and found multiple articles many similar to http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproinstall/thread/52920eba-0ff4-499b-8757-afbe06f64e46/ this link. Most time I get an error similar to the below I am at a bit of a loss. I have verified the drives I downloaded were for teh correct operating system, in fact downloaded them trice on two different computers. I understand the error i think. It wants a 64bit driver but when I try to install the additional drivers I am selecting x86, then follow the prompts point to the folder containing the drivers hit ok and get the error. I even tried PCL5. Any ideas? TIA, Jim Jim "Nothing is fool proof to a talented fool"

Hi, Please download the 64-bit version driver of the printer from the device provider website. Then, please redirect to the 64-bit driver folder during adding Printer process for a test. http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=1845552&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=1845551&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=4063 Please Note: Microsoft provides third-party information to help you find technical support.
