Win7 x64 explorer reports invalid handle when accessing a mapped drive
I am running windows 7 Ultimate x64 with a HP photosmart C5180 printer on the network. The printer maps the card reader via CIF server, the software install maps drive z: to the card reader. The printer prints and scans documents Fine. Open explorer to access z: drive you receive an error "invalid handle" Open a command prompt, you can change drive to z: you can change directory and add and remove files NO errors, using the same memory card. This looks like explorer does not know how to deal with this device, yet it is fine und CMD prompt. Any ideas on what is going on?
