Win7 upgrade repair not allowed if already on SP1
thanx - I'll try that - except i prefer not having to unistall/reinstall SP1 - any other ideas - or am I between a rock and a hard spot?

you could try makings a new windows repair disk from within control panel/backup, then on the left side of the window you should see create repair disk. you can also try this link if making the new disk doesn't pan out for you. http://www.dll-error.com/

I am running win7 ultimate (64-bit) & get invalid hashes for the following 3 files: (SFC /scannow does not fix them, either) DevicePairing.dll INETRES.dll WLanConn.dll Tried an upgrade fix using original install dvd, but since I am running sp1 now, it says I can't, Any ideas?

You could slipsteam Windows 7 SP1 on to a new DVD and use that. Jerry

Hi, You could try to uninstall SP1 and then do your upgrade fix. Check that your issue is repaired and then reinstall SP1. It seems that in addition to this way beyond, officials there's no other way

You could slipsteam Windows 7 SP1 on to a new DVD and use that. Jerry If you read the page that you post a link to, you'll find that a disk prepared using that method can't be used to do a repair install over Win7 SP1. (I haven't verified that.) Apparently integrating SP1 using RT 7 Lite doesn't give you a "slipstreamed" copy equivalent to what was available with XP (done without any third-party tools). This may not help, but for those who acquired Win7 by download from the Microsoft Store, as I did, I found a couple of things yesterday: 1) The download links (from 2009) were still active, and 2) The versions available for download include SP1, if the file names are to be believed.
