Win7 or Hardware?
Has anyone had the problem of Win7 failing to execute anything after a long time of inactivity? Yesterday was the second time that when I get back to the PC and tryed to execute IE a popup said the link was not available and asked if I wanted to delete it. When I went to the start/all programs...there was nothing in the all program section. The only thing that was active was the "shut down" button. Could this be Win7 or could it be hardware? I just installed a new power supply two days ago BUT I had the S/W problem prior to installing the P/S. Any help here would be great. Thanks,Len

Hi LenDo you have the Sleep or Hibernate components enabled? If so, there are known issues when resuming the system. These issues are currently being discussed in many different threads on these forums. Please go to our Main Forums Page and use the Search All Windows 7 Forums box. Enter search keywords, such as "sleep" "hibernate" or "All Programs" (including the quotes) to find these threads. Some of these threads contain fixes for the problems and your participation in these threads may help to further resolve these problems.Regards,Thank You for testing Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP
