Win7 encryption
What is the default wireless encryption in WIN7 (type and key-length)? How do I tell what it is using for encryption, and how do I change it. I tried to connect to my existing 802.11g network which has WEP encryption, but was refused.

the "default" is none, that is set per connection. You have not really provided a bit of info to help you out.can you connect if the disable wep or change to wpa2??can you connect to other AP'smake model AP and wi-fi gear you are using. If the gear is NOT on the list..you may be buying new gear.http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx
