Hey. I am having a problem when booting the computer. The boot up proceeds to where the Windows logo appears, the usual windows tone sounds. Thats where it stops. I am left with a blank screen. OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64bit CPU: Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHZ MOBO:Intel DX58SO RAM:Corsair XMS3 HDD: WD Velociraptor 300GB DVD drive: Plextor PX880SA GPU: PNY Geforce 9800GTX+ SOUND:Creative SOundblaster X-FI NETWORK CARD:D-Link 560T I've tried scanning the disk for errors, disabling startup services and programs and scanning the RAM for errors. Hi, Since the issue does not occur in Safe Mode, we can conclude that the issue can occur by third party program. I suggest you perform a Selective Clean Boot to troubleshoot the issue. (Type “MSCONFIG” in Search box and press Enter. Then select “Selective startup” and clear the first two options. Restart the machine to check the result.)
