Win7 Screen Res.
Why can I not be able to view my Full resolution with this Win7? My monitor is able to go up to 1920x1200. My monitor is also certified for Vista/XP, this new Win7 is like Vista right? Why can't I set my resolution to it? I need full resolution, not that crappy low resolution that it's at now. Someone please help, or Microsoft needs to FIX that.

That looks like a problem either with your video card (not fully compatible drivers?) or with your monitor connection. You should post that in the hardware forum and specify your equipment.Mobile AMD64 3000+, VIA Apollo K8T800 chipset, 1 G RAM, ATIRadeonMobility 9700, 20x DVDRW, C:XPSP3 (55G),D:WIN7 (25G),F:DATA (250G)

Thank you, ill do that. But before i used the new format it worked just fine with XP for the resolution, i think it's the new OS not installing the proper darn driver for it.

What is your video card model?

That your XP system worked fine with XP drivers, is understandable. The driver model changed in the meantime, so the question might be: Are there fully compatible drivers for Windows 7 for your card, or not? How to answer that if nobody knows what kind of card you are using?Mobile AMD64 3000+, VIA Apollo K8T800 chipset, 1 G RAM, ATIRadeonMobility 9700, 20x DVDRW, C:XPSP3 (55G),D:WIN7 (25G),F:DATA (250G)
