Win7 SP1
Hi folks, I had to start SP1 twice, than it worked but now... all desktop icons are covered with the win-pic (unidentified / unsupported pic file). Uninstalling the SP1 didn't help, all icons except the bin and one folder are still covered with that "I-can't-read-that-format" icon (old style folder with the red, blue & green dot). If I go to the explorer and create a shortcut... it's created but wiht that double icon, i.e. the outlook icon covered by that second one. how do I get my icons back?

unfortunately nut; I can create a screen shot... but i have no clue where to upload this picture (copy-paste does not work)... I'm not that fit in using that forum but basically it's very simple: every time has to show an icon which is not stored / in the data base / damaged it has a default icon: looks like an old explorer folder (win3) with 3 colored dots... red, blue & green
